FAQ for employers
What is Ro(o)tation about?
Ro(o)tation is an EU-funded project that helps companies create inclusive workplaces by connecting them with trained and supported long-term unemployed people — especially those on the autism spectrum.
Why should my company join?
By joining, you will:
• Gain access to motivated workers and expert guidance on inclusion.
• Receive financially subsidised employment opportunities.
• Enhance your company’s social impact and visibility within a European network.
What does “subsidised employment” mean?
It means that the salaries of selected participants are partly covered by the project during the employment period, reducing costs for the employer while promoting inclusion.
What kind of support will my company receive?
Each employer is assisted by a team of psychologists, job coaches, and trainers who help design suitable roles, prepare the workplace, and provide ongoing follow-up.
How long is the collaboration with each participant?
The typical employment period lasts around 12 months, depending on the participant’s progress and the company’s needs.
What are my obligations as an employer?
Employers must:
• Offer safe and legally compliant working conditions;
• Participate in short inclusion and awareness trainings;
• Cooperate with project staff for progress monitoring and evaluation.
What kinds of profiles can I expect among participants?
Participants include long-term unemployed people seeking to rebuild professional experience — some with autism spectrum conditions, others facing economic or social vulnerability. All are pre-screened and supported.
Is there any cost for employers?
No direct financial contribution is required to join. However, companies are expected to dedicate time and staff to support mentoring and supervision within the workplace.
How is confidentiality handled regarding participants’ conditions?
All personal information, including psychological or health data, is managed with strict confidentiality and in full compliance with EU data protection regulations (GDPR).
